The Family Resource Centre offers the following programs
Family Support Worker - Provide information, support &
referrals to help strengthen the family unit & keep children safe.
Family/Couples/Individual Counselling
Deals with parenting, anger and stress management, relationships, conflict
resolution, social and communication skills, divorce, separation, grief, and
life skills development.
Stopping The Violence Counselling
For women who have been physically or sexually abused, or who are
survivors of childhood abuse.
Safe Homes Program
Offers safe, temporary accommodations for women and their children who
are fleeing violence within their homes.
Victim Assistance Program
Police-based program providing support and information to victims of
crime and traumatic events.
Youth Outreach
Provides mediation & support to youth 12-18 years and their families.
Sexual Abuse Intervention
Provides specialized services to children and youth who have been
sexually abused.
Children Who Witness Abuse
Provides specialized services to children who have witnessed abuse,
threats or violence in their homes.
Alcohol & Drug Counseling
Provided through
East Kootenay Addiction Services.

Resource Library
Provides information on family development, personal growth, parenting,
abuse, and assault, addiction and legal issues.
Good Food Co-op
Provides quality, fresh, nutritious produce purchased in bulk at a
savings to families & individuals wanting to improve their health.

team strives to meet community needs by providing diverse and accessible
information, as well as confidential support services to anyone who seeks
them.
We are open Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 4:30 closed from 12 to 1 for lunch
