The Invermere Family Resource Centre aims to be a growing, learning, supportive place where people are comfortable seeking assistance in dealing with issues they face, or simply to drop in, share, learn, and enjoy. To that end, the Centre maintains:

	Knowledgeable counselling & support staff.
	An extensive book, video & audio library.
	Practical workshops and classes.
	Information on local support services.

To enrich the community by empowering the individual.
To use partnerships, knowledge, experience and innovation to encourage community and individual wellness in an accessible and supportive environment.

The Family Resource Centre is a registered society based in Invermere, serving the population of the Upper Columbia Valley: from Spillimacheen in the north, to Canal Flats in the south, and including Brisco, Edgewater, Panorama, Radium Hot Springs, Wilmer, Windermere, Fairmont Hot Springs, and Dutch Creek. The area has a population of 8,500 which swells to more than 35,000 in the summer season.
